I do air brush tanning once a week. I just do not have time to lay out, & I really dont even wanna take the 20 minutes of time everyday for tanning bed. I started off with spray tan booth, it was o.k. but sometimes the stuff would run down your legg or whever, and it would look like paint overspray. But airbrush tanning is perfect. You tell the person how dark, how much to put on, and it only takes about 10 to 15 minutes to do, plus the tan is perfectly even. And after a couple of sessions the awakwardnesss of having someone spray you goes away. Remember that person should have a license, and is a professional, and does it all day. If this is what you choose to do, I can tell you how to make the tan last all week.
Hope this helps

1) No, Mystic Tan is about $20-$25/time
2) Put on a showercap and barrier cream on your hands, feet, and ankles. (Both will be provided for you). You stand in a booth with your arms spread out and the machine will spray you for 12, 15, or 18 seconds depending on your preference for how dark you want your tan. Then you turn around and it will spray your other side for the same # of seconds. You get out and pat yourself dry, and you're set! don't shower for 7 hours.
3) The actual booth takes about 1 minute, but the preparation and drying yourself at the end takes about 10 minutes all together.
4) YES people always compliment me after I get spraytanned.
5) It lasts only about 5 days, so that's a bummer but I don't think I look orange and I wont be getting cancer, so it's totally worth it. Also, it looks GREAT in photos!

I'VE WORKED AT TANNING SALONS FOR OVER A YEAR IT RANGES FRO 20-30 $ A SESSION ITS DONE IN A BOOTH IT TAKES ABOUT 30 SECONDS TO SPRAY AND ABOUT 5-10 MIN. TO RUB IT IN ITS ONLY WORTH IT IF YOU HAVE TO THERE ARE A LOT OF NEW TANNING BEDS OUT THERE NOW I ALWAYS RECOMEND TANNING INSTEAD OF SPRAYING YOU SHOULD REALLY DO A MONTHLY PACKAGE WITH A LOW PRESSURE BED TAN AT LEST EVERY OTHER DAY START WITH 5 MIN. THEN ADD A MIN. EVERY TIME U GO IN AND THERE ARE HIGH PRESSURE BEDS (UVA ONLY) THAT WILL GIVE YOU INSTANT COLOR WITH OUT BURNING THE SPRAY TANS I'VE WORKED WITH ARE THE MYSTIC TAN AND THE HEX IF THE SALON OWNER USES THE RIGHT SOLUTION IT WILL NOT TURN U ORANGE

I would go to a salon and have it done.. I am sorry but I do not trust that kind of stuff ..

Have you thought of just using a tanning bed for a month before summer to set your skin at a good tone and this should eliminate any sever burning ....

Good Luck!

well, 2 of my friends decided to try the spray tan last year...they started going for a spray 3x a week...they looked orange, & when it started to flake off, their skin looked like an old piece of furniture with peeling paint!!! so, they decided to go more often...even worse!!! they ended up looking like mutant pumpkins, they were so orange!!! my friends were totally disgusted, & just went back to using the tanning bed!!!

I am a salon owner and firm believer in "Fake Bake" it is a salon product and is probably found on ebay. Anyway, it works great. Brown and even.
