I agree that is very sad, what I found the saddest sound was when I visited an orphanage and heard the babies crying for their moms who weren't there.

the saddest sound is the sound of a baby crying. I start to get a really sad lost feeling when I hear a baby cry...I feel like crying too.

All coronary heart breaking, I teared. I think of the silence that greets you once you climb into an empty mattress after the dying of the one which you love of many years is soul destroying. in my view, the saddest sound I honestly have ever heard is the crying at a funeral. It broke my coronary heart.
