Nearest railway station to bardez goa to travel to Mangalore?

Hi,

I will be staying in Arpora Bardez on my vacation to Goa. Which is the nearest rail station that i should board at, to go to Mangalore (konkan railway route)? Is it Thivim?

I would suggest you to board at MADGAON, which is the main railway station in Goa. I think all the trains in konkan route will not stop at Thivim station.
