Well, just let him/her know how you feel, and tell him/her that you are looking out for their best interest, and that you care about them as a friend. If they are your friend, they will listen to you, and want your advice, and hopefully their decision will be a better one after hearing from you!

You really can't stop your friend from making a bad decision, anymore than she could stop you from doing the same. Your mind is either made up to do it or it isn't. As a friend, you'll be there no matter what the outcome, cause that's what real friends do.

You really can't control how a person thinks or what they believe, you just have to let them experience the consequences of their actions, that's the only way they learn on their own. If you push them too hard, you might them lose them, it's hard to just watch and make them learn how bad that decision really was, but all you can do is encourage them in the future to listen to you.
ps.being a good friend would not be for you to say 'I told you so' even if you were right.
Pretty soon they would discover it on their own.

I think the best way to talk to someone is not to judge them. If you make a judgement your friend will do it out of spite and not even consider what you're saying. That means being neutral. Put the consequences of either side out there and ask if he/she can accept any of them.

Seperate the goods from bads, manipulate the mind, in the end when your friend's alleigence (hopefully) lies with you, his/her loyalty will be great enough to understand the benefits in the outcome.

Try to talk her out of it and if that does not work take her somewhere so she miss the time to do the bad thing.
