You do not have to take his last name if anything you should ask him he wants to take your last name. I actually had a boss that had the name Jorge Krapohl he ended up taking his wifes last name becuase he was getting tired of being called names or people laughing at his name.

Thank you so much for asking this question!!! You have given me my best laugh of the week. So, unfortunate that this is the highlight of my humor for the week. Nonetheless, .... take the name, so that, you can infuse the same joy into other's lives that you have infused in mine.

Ooo, that is bad... I would see if he is willing to take yours or let you keep yours. Have you talked to him about it, I mean its a sensitive subject but if your going to be married you should be able to communicate your feelings on anything right?
