There are many Muslims presently living throughout Europe.
Are the two societies gradually becoming one?
I think with patience and tolerance both will eventually merge into a secular maturity as predicted by Sigmund Freud.

European society is considered a free society where you are allowed to do pretty much whatever you want (within reason of course).Muslim society is a society where men and women are definitely not equal. The best is kept for the men and its widely believed that women are less valuable human beings. The general belief in those countries is that the woman is the boss at home and the man is the boss everywhere else.
I don't agree with the way Muslim society goes about its business but these people have lived this way for centuries and their society is still flourishing... so who are we to tell them that they are wrong. The mere fact that we are free to do and think what we want only means that we should also allow those in their own Muslim society to do what they want to do, as long as it doesn't impact us.

First of all, we are human being regardless our religion. We may have differences in about everything, but in the end the spirit of humanity that brought us together.
Comparing muslims society and european society usually start with the comparing differences in religions. Islam is the religion for muslims, while most of the european society is christian devoted. These differences in religion without control can contribute to lots of argumentative scenario. which happening to the world today. Then you will compare them to what theirs believe are and theirs way of life. Each society have different believe which associated with theirs religion. Muslims believe that God have no son, but in christianity, Jesus the Holy son of God. Muslims way of life emphasize of moderation, equality. Christianity focus more on salvation. The comparison can also be in term of culture differences, demographic differences, geological differences, economic differences, socio demographic and the like..aight..that my opinion..thanks

Your question has to be re-phrased to better express the query within.
I, atleast, cannot compare a religion with a geographically identified group of people.
The day we stop identifying religions with geographical identities( like christianity with europe and Buddhism with Tibet) I think such comparisons will inherently become more assimilatory rather than divisive.

Pl.don't compare.They are poles apart.
Let them learn to tolerate eac other with all their differences and that is humanism.
No other 'ism' can save the world from the chaos created by terrorists and the technological giants in the world.
