As far as the head coach, we can only hope that Al Davis made the same type of choice that he did with Madden and Gruden.

Moss needs to go. He has played no better than average, and has been a morale crusher.

Burgess deserves a raise, but not at the expense of the team. He has been one of the few bright spots during the past couple of seasons.

JaMarcus Russell is the obvious choice. Oakland has NO quarterback, period. Russell will be picked by Davis because of his ability to facilitate the vertical passing game.

I did not know that Porter was wearing #81 now. As much as I love the Raiders, I have always disagreed with them not retiring jerseys. Seeing other players wearing the jersey numbers of guys like Shell, Upshaw, Long, Blanda, Stabler, etc. is just wrong. #81 should be retired, period. Brown was in a class by himself.

New coach is good, Raiders always had success with young coach, Gruden and Madden, Randy Moss wont be happy until they have a decent quarterback, such as Jamarcus Russell. Derrick Burgess is becoming a Pro Bowl regular and he should get more, Again they will take Russell, and Porter isnt Oakland loving, he always wanted number 81, but when he got there Tim Brown had it and this way he can have that number and have a fresh start.

Art Shell was a mess. Lane Kiffin will be amazing and fit in to Raider Nation great. How bad can he be coming from the offensive coordinator position of the team with the best record the previous year? Lane Kiffin is very offensive minded and Oakland needs to put the oil on the greasy wheel which is a struggling offense.

Get rid of the bum. We can trade him, a third pick, Lamont the choke and fatass Sapp for a primetime runningback...Frank gore said that he didnt like the Bay Area, Clinton Portis will most likely be traded since gibbs is calling Mr. Backup to fill the spot. Point is, get rid of moss, we can get Dwayne Jarrrett easily in the second round since he didnt to good in the combine.

To all of Raider Nation, we need to start over. It has been to misrable seasons. Trade Burgess' stock while it is high. Get draft picks, wide recievers, just anything that will get rid of him.

Jamarcus Russel! I can't wait. On January 10, 2007, Russell stated that he had decided to skip his final season of NCAA eligibility with LSU and enter the 2007 NFL Draft, where he is expected to be a first round pick, and possibly compete with Brady Quinn, Calvin Johnson, and others for the first overall selection. USC coach Pete Carroll said he considered Russell to be the player his former offensive coordinator and current Oakland Raiders coach Lane Kiffin should select. Since we were not active in the free agency with a quarterback, we have to get one in the draft.

Jerry Porter is a great player when he is on his game. Let him were his number if he will play like 2002. He is just excited for a possible new quarterback.

im not a raider fan but i do live across the bay, but have no hatred towards the silver and black.
lane kiffin is young but last time the raiders had a young coach, jon gruden, he did pretty well.
if burgess wants a raise, then pay him, he deserves it, he and sapp are the leaders of the raiders D, which is pretty damn good.
#1 pick should be calvin johnson
Porter has the talent to be a #1 WR but didnt get to show it last year.
moss doesnt want to be a raider, so trade him for picks of a QB.

i'm no raiders fan, but if i put myself in the shoes of their GM, i'd respect the authority of lane kiffen. i think that guy will surprise a lot of people. i would continue to try to trade randy moss for a descent qb, hopefully a mobile one. give burgess a raise. draft calvin johnson in the first round as he is the best player in the draft. no idea with porter.

Head coach...maybe we'll get lucky.
Moss.... try to get rid of the turd, maybe we could get lucky and get a real football player for him.
Derrick Burgess...What has he done to earn a raise? Does being a shi**y player get you a raise?
#1 pick...Please not Russell. We need a lot more than a fat, lazy unproven QB.
Porter... As*hole.

i think of cowboys followers hate it greater the final ingredient they might pick is for the 49ers to win their 6th in the previous they do. yet me as a Raider fan i'm greater fearful approximately what they try this off season i pick to work out Raiders advance yet do no longer worry we are going to be lower back! besides the incontrovertible fact that it style of seems such as you're getting cocky my pal i assume we are going to see how this large bowl seems.
