...ok, so more names i read, more confusing it gets. i am trying to find a name for our baby girl, of course i want it to be special, but i can't really find something i love! if i like something, i am not sure the next minute (don't know if it's the pregnancy hormones or what?:)) ...anyway i am getting close and if anybody has an advice how to find the right name and how to actually stick to it, i would really apreciate it.... i know it might sound weird, but it is what it is..... (...and please don't be mean...)

Okay first i went through that with my son every time i thought we had desied on a name ether me or my huband would change our mind. It went on till i was almost Nine months but we got it. Even if you can't deside now the moment you see you little baby in your ams you'll know what to her so try no to stress yo'll get it. another thing the less you look at the baby name books the less likely you are of cn fusing your selfpu it down for a while step aw ay let your mind rest and if you really want to have a name when you have her do this through all the manes you like in a hat or something then pull it out if you have the urge to no lets try again hen you really don't want that name and troght it out.

Just in case i was going to use this if i had another girl but i'm not so if you like it you can have it

Its hard to chose something so influential and important. You want something that fits the baby. If you still are not sure when you get closer to your due date, here is what I recommend. Make a list of names that you like and keep it with you when you go into labour. When you see your baby girl, you will know what the right name for her is.

And this may sound funny, but my friend and her husband helped pick out their sons' names by yelling them like they would if the boys were in trouble!

You say "our" is the father helping you pick a name? This needs to be a decision between the two of you. Try picking out three names you REALLY like (and try not to pick a name that's too off the wall, your child will have to live with it his/her whole life). Once you've agreed on three names, take them with you when you go into labor. Sometimes, you just have to see your baby to decide. My friend had Serena, Sierra, and Sabrina picked out when she went into labor. When she saw her baby girl, she was a Serena. :) Another had Amber & Ashley picked out, when she saw her baby, she was an Amber (big brown eyes). Only you will know the perfect fit for your baby.

Good luck!

I understand.... It is such an important decision! I thought I had decided on my daughters name... I refered to her by that name for months! Then went to a family event, and a boyfriend of a relative (not even a family member, and now long gone!) made fun of the name in a way that made me laugh too..... I couldn't get it out of my mind... still makes me grin... but, in my last week of pregnancy... it dawned on me, we had thought of naming a son after grandpa (Lonnie) but we never thought about spelling it Loni for a girl, and that is her name! The perfect name will just suddenly come to you, and you will be at peace with it! Don't worry! Enjoy the search for the right name. You only get to name THIS baby once!

More than likely, when you see her, the perfect name will come to you. but keep a journal of names you do like even if only for a moment...and make sure it's packed when you go to the hospital! You don't have to name the baby months or weeks in advance..

I know my cousin went into the delivery room with about 15 names for a girl, and if it was a boy, Terry. Her daughter just has one first name and one middle name. You'll figure it out. You might want to wait until you meet your daughter, look into her eyes, and decide on a name. You obviously have several you like.

find one that is simple timeless and they dont spend the rest of thier life trying to pay you back for
then take it to the local year three class and find out what torment your child will go through at school carrying a bad handle remember they grow up and have to live with the not so trendy name or cute name as an adult.
i looked for such a name when my son was born and decided on alec and the first thing his brother called him when he was born was "smart alec" kids are quick

okay well i'm sure u arnt the first person to experince this, look at the name books online and other places, meet new people with interesting names, sometimes it helps. I culd give u a million and one names to consider but u have to find out if origin matters or if anything else matters to you.

Good Luck, to you and with the baby.
