No - I own every album they've ever made. They're getting a little long in the tooth but they were never over-rated. And Angus was right, they did have a similar sound early on. Heck, even some of they early albums had songs from a previous album! But, that said, they were one of the influential few that changed rock and roll and how it was played.

They were not the same after Bob Scott died. They never recovered from it. The first 7 albums are some of the greatest rock ever produced!

I guess you had to be there. Back in the day metal bands were coming along strong and MTV ruled. Now let's put the shoe on the other foot and look at Rap. It all sounds the same to me from artist to artist besides the same artist having the same old beat. Let's not forget these new hip hopper female singers, they all sound the same to me too. But I digress.

Dude, you're just proving the fact that it's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll.
--------------------------------------
Ridin' down the highway
Goin' to a show
Stop in all the byways
Playin' rock 'n' roll
Gettin' robbed
Gettin' stoned
Gettin' beat up
Broken boned
Gettin' had
Gettin' took
I tell you folks
It's harder than it looks
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you think it's easy doin' one night stands
Try playin' in a rock roll band
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
Hotel motel
Make you wanna cry
Lady do the hard sell
Know the reason why
Gettin' old
Gettin' grey
Gettin' ripped off
Under-paid
Gettin' sold
Second hand
That's how it goes
Playin' in a band
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
If you wanna be a star of stage and screen
Look out it's rough and mean
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock 'n' roll
Well it's a long way
It's a long way, you should've told me
It's a long way, such a long way
