Wow, tough question without knowing where you plan on placing it and how much improvement has been done already to that site.
So let's make some assumptions; you have a patio or deck but will need to add an additional pad to accommodate the new hot tub.
You will need a plumber to install the hot tub and you'll use a garden hose to maintain water levels.
You have never managed or owned a swimming pool.
The hot tub will need a new concrete pad with six to ten inches of compacted base (need to consult your localities building codes on this issue) along with three inches of concrete. Assuming the tub is eight by eight and you want room to walk around it without stepping on grass or mud you'll want a fifteen by fifteen pad.
So estimate $800 for the pad with you doing the digging of the foundation, laying and compacting the base and contracting the concrete which you'll finish.
A plumber to install the tub hook up electric and make sure the pumps, heater and piping are correct will run three hours at $80 per hour.
If you're doing this inside you can substitute the $800 for concrete for the plumber to install drain, spigot, etc.
Initial cost of chemicals - $100 and roughly that every ninety days depending on usage and dirt levels of inhabitants.
So all told - roughly a grand to get it in and installed. Worth it? Only you can decide that.

How old is it? Is the heater energy efficient? I have a 20 year old hot tub. I tested the electricity that it used for 4-5 times that I heated it from being off for a couple of weeks, turned it on to 108 degrees. Used it one night. Used it the next day. Did the same thing about a week later. I figure it cost me about $40 for at the most 5 times in the hot tub for 1 month. The chemicals are cheap.

If it is a "portable" hot tub, it can sit on your basement floor, or outside.
You'll fill it with a hose and it should have a heater.
Chemicals will probably be 20 to 50 a month depending on the size.
The heater uses a lot of electricity, but you can shut that off when you know you won't be using it.
Your largest problem will be getting it on or off the truck. Even if it is "portable" they're still really heavy (more than a 4 person job.)

I even have not had this surgical operation achieved on any of my canines, i comprehend that a watch professional would be costly. I additionally comprehend that even nonetheless your canine won't have his eyesight, he can lead a happy existence. There are somethings which you're able to do help him, do no longer substitute your furniture around... he's familiar with his the section now, so after some adjusting he would be nice. save an intensive eye on him... do no longer enable him outdoors without your supervision and a lead except he's in a fenced section, like your backyard... there's a vet workplace in my section that has a thoroughly blind canine, he's the canine of one of the vets. He is going to the workplace popular, he's happy and he explores and greets actually everyone. it truly is fairly achievable for the two one in each and every of you to stay primary lives as quickly as you have adjusted to the misplaced inventive and prescient. Your canines existence expectancy isn't desperate with the aid of his sight and that's truly difficult to tell how issues would be. i'm hoping this facilitates a splash.
