I mean really? I give a thumbs down when an answer given has absolutely nothing to do with the question and it is offensive or just plain mean....what's wrong with that?

I purely use thumbs down in the form whilst somebody solutions and that's totally uncalled for. I see a superb form of thumbs downs each and every so often and that i think of there are people who will in simple terms circulate down each and every answer and supply it no count if it truly is a powerful answer or no longer.

Nothing wrong with that I do it to. What I don't like is to answer a question and then someone after me calls me an idiot or stupid because of my answer. I do not give nasty answers unless it is a mean question and if someone calls me stupid for that it does not bother me. I don't like it when someone has a different opinion than mine and calls me stupid for mine. Keep giving the thumbs down when an answer needs it just don't call me an idiot.

I agree, nothing wrong with it. It's one of our options in this forum, and frankly, it's kinda nice to just browse and either TU or TD, if I don't have anything worth contributing as an answer! And I'm with you - I don't TD because I disagree with an answer, only if it's mean or insulting.

But there are too many Thumbs Down Trolls out there who either TD everything, TD specific people or TD every answer to a question but their own.
