Leave it alone and take your antibiotics.

If you have been to the doctor then do what he said to do. Why would you question some one who is treating you? The antibiotic must be taken and every last pill. Drink lots of fluids and if it gets worse then go back to the doctor and let him know. Did you save the spider?? If not and you are not sure it is even a spider bite then just follow what your physician told you to do. Leave it alone! And let the medicine work. And I mean leave it alone!!!! And let the antibiotic work it takes time but I am quite sure your physician knows what he/she is doing. A little sugar with that medicine is always helpful.(giggle) Not too much sugar though antibiotics can make birth control pills ineffective.

Well, keep it clean, you could put a light dressing on it with some antibiotic ointment like Neosporin-but if the doc didn't suggest anything else I guess I'd go with that-or you could seek a second opinion.
