i'm wondering if someone has your license plate number, can they look up stuff on you on the internet? is there any possible way to do so with a license plate? thanks!

You can look up license plates in 17 of the 50 states
You can look up drivers license in 9 of the 50 states

This is NOT free, it costs $9.95/month, but this information is considered PUBLIC INFORMATION in these states. Mine (TX) was the first to allow this way back in 1996 or 1997. The website has been around since then.

The last time I looked up my own information, everything was correct, so despite claims that this is not possible, it is.

As far as I know, all anyone with your license number can do is turn it in to the police. But they (the police) can get your name and address. And once they have your name, they can find out lots more about you.

No..license registration is secured through the BMV.

NO - your vehicle registration (also your drivers lisence) is NOT public information.
