Blue Eyes by Elton John... On our very first date, we ended up going out on a lake in a row boat at about midnight... we were lying on the bottom of the boat in the middle of the lake singing ( I know, sounds silly, but here we are 25 years later and we still do stuff like that!) and he started singing that to me...(by the way, I have brown eyes). Anyway 20 years later we were at a restaurant and he went to the juke box, came back to the table, smiled and Blue Eyes started playing... Ah sweet memories....
Thank you for making me remember that!

"Sometimes I Just Have to Say Your Name" by Del Amitri
(one of the greatest unheralded bands of all time)
We used to make tapes for each other when we were dating and we both put it on a tape...
[For most of you reading Y!A, who may not know, a "tape" is from the olden days, and it is a little plastic rectangle with brown transparent tape in it on which was recorded sound. You had to put this device in a "tape player" (also known as a "casette player" or "Boombox") and you could then listen to the recorded sound.]

We have a couple songs "I Don't Want To Know" Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album...happy vibe and I played it over and over and over while rocking in a rocking chair at warped-speed while under the influence of a substance not to be named...Also, "Carry On My Wayward Son" Kansas, HIS fave "rocking-chair song" at the time and then "We Just Disagree" Dave Mason because it was another song I played over and over ad nauseum cause I liked the piano in it and he got so sick of it he threw it out the window...we had a very good laugh and had great "make-up sex" after that one. LOL

Amazed by Lonestar. It was a hit when we were dating and it seemed to be playing on the radio alot when we were together. We have another song also. You Had Me From Hello by Kenny Chesney. It was also a hit at the time we were dating.

Love You To Death by Type O Negative.
Ironically there's really no sappy romantic story behind it but we had our first kiss to it and it's stuck as ours now and was played at our wedding.
