I did tech support for an internet service provider on 2nd shift. I loved it because at 8:00 PM the calls really dropped off a lot and there was a light call load for the rest of the night.

Night Janitors usuall, or night watchmen, but there are lots of businesses open all night which would be good. Hotels, restaurants, even some data entry is done at night.

Most retail stores such as Rite Aid and Walmart have people to come in and stock the shelves overnight.

GO STRAIGHT TO THE HEALTHCARE FIELD. THIS FIELD IS ALWAYS IN DEMAND AND HAS GREAT PAY AND BENEFITS DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU WORK. BUT 2ND AND 3RD SHIFT POSITIONS ARE USUALLY HARD TO FILL BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE HAVE KIDS, FAMILY,ETC THAT THEY WOULD RATHER BE AT HOME WITH.

Nurse and other hospital employees, caregivers, police, fire fighter, EMT, grocery clerk for all night groceries, guard, check processing for banks and the fed, post office, newspapers, custodians, ... etc.
