Seems that the only "United we Stand" is with the politicians
the Democrats are United against the Republicans and the Republicans are United against the Democrats.

The liberals would like to see us United in socialism (as long as they control it)

That is the way the U.S. works,, even thought it seems that we are divided, look at things that the country jumps all on one wagon..
the bombing of Peral Harbor
the attacts by planes on the twin towers,

So we do stand together when it is the time to do so.

I'm not sure how you could ask such a question, given the copious amounts of ignorant partisan drivel one here. The answer is pretty obvious.

Once, a long time ago this was true. Haven't seen much of this lately.

I believe Mark Twain's statement.Patriotism is loyalty to the country, always, and loyalty to the government when it deserves it.A government with extremely low approval ratings cannot expect the population to march in lockstep behind them. Most of us are united.Just not those who blindly follow the leader! So if you think that we should, indeed unite, why should the majority switch to the minority's position?

liberals do not want us to be united, and the last thing they want is for us to stand for are country.

Libs don't want democracy to stand. They want to replace it with socialism- with them in the "New Kremlin" in Washington, D. C.
