Because what sort of blood runs through your veins doesn't determine weather or not you deserve respect or honor.

Why should we, as citizens of a democratic country, have to honor the nobility or royalty of another country. They are just people to us. We have no peer system like those in some other countries. If we are in their country and come in close contact with royalty, they should be treated with respect but, as I said, they are just people who happened to be born to someone who holds a title. That doesn't make them any better or worse than us.

Because Americans were not raised around royalty does not mean we don't respect them. A lot of it is kind of a mystery. Why is there a royal family in place when they are unable to actually rule the country?

Because during the colonial period in the United States. the royalty had a strong grip on the colonies. The royalty were complete morans and really didn't give the people many rights. Just many taxes.

Its stupid to honor anyone who thinks theyre greater by birth alone (not that this doesnt exist to some degree in the states still) but its absurd and medieval in thinking. There is no intelligent reason to have to respect anyone for a title they didnt earn.

Well, some people just don't relate to it. I just try to respect everybody. I mean, I don't care about honoring a Sir William, Princess somebody or Prince somebody that sit and drink tea all day and play crochet. Their sh*t stinks just like mine.

Because we believe that all men are created equal, so why would we honor or exhault someone based on their birth heritage?

the system only works for the wealthy and, privilidged. if it worked, there would be more monarchies and, less constitutional monarchies. everyone should be equal. thats why We dumped the system, over 200 years ago.
