No, and it's called "Loyalty"

Coming from a Vikings fan, i've never really seen the Vikings to far into the playoffs, but it doesn't really bother me, because i'm a fan of the Vikings.

I'm not one of those people who jump on banwagons because I just think that is wrong, and if you do that, then you are NOT a sports fan.

I also believe that every team is equal in a way. Every team had there ups and down seasons, every teams had there chances, and every teams had there mistakes.

I don't think that because your team isn't doing good, that people deserve to say your team sucks because there team sometimes in the future or in the past has had there down times as well.

But, were fans, we have the rights to say whatever we want.

Absolutely not. And remember, nowadays, due to the free agent market, a team that is is horrible now maybe a contender within the next few years. Look at the Saints, they have always been terrible (3-13 in 2005) but they had a good off season, picked up a qb, some receivers, and reggie bush, and they made it to the NFC championship. Same with the Bears, they had been horrid for the past few years then they end up in the super bowl. Simply put, stay loyal to your team no matter what their record. Anyone can jump on the bandwagon, but only a few remain true blue throughout.

NO be loyal to your favorite team, hometown preferred of course. I have been a Browns fan my whole life, and have only really been there for one winning season (I am only 24). I do know they had success in 85-89, but I really was not abe to comprehend football too well at age 3-7.

Alot of people still have the loyalty for crappy teams, that is why the tickets still sell. Football is fun to watch, even when your team is not that great.. you always think that this might be the game to ruin someone else's season.

Only if it's the Oakland Raiders.

There is nothing wrong with supporting a team when it's down. I'm a Sandiego Chargers fan and I supported them just as much when they went 1-15 as when they went 14-2. Every team goes through a slump or rebuilding have Patience.

no that means ur a real fan of the team, i hate it when people pick a team as their favorite just because they are doing good that year and change every year. Real fans have LOYALTY to the team they like and stick with that team through the good and bad.

Well, then the almost 70,742 people who watched the Houston Texans lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-7 in September '05 would be wrong. I doubt that too many of those fans were from Pittsburgh, either.

There is nothing wrong with liking a team that sucks, because when that team finally turns it around and starts winning, starts making it to the playoffs multiple times, starts winning their division muliple time, then wins a Conference Championship, and makes it to the Superbowl; then you can rumb it in everyone's face really good. Also, by that time they won't suck anymore.

I sure hope not, cause I've been a Tigers and Lions fan for all my life. Went through some rough years with the Tigers, but they pulled through. Lions are having some tough ones right now, but I'll still be a fan.. just a disgusted one.

I agree with Choro-Kun up there, every team has had there ups and downs. I'm a Raiders fan and you can't believe how bad were doing. People say that we suck, but I just think back to when we won a superbowl, and that rejoices me.
