I have joint and back problems. Does anyone out there have experience with the "sleep number bed"? If so, is it worth the money? If so, what model?

I have slept on a couple of the sleep number beds and I would not recommend them, as I woke up with a back ache and sore knees. The best thing to do would be to get a good hard matress and figure on changing it every 8 to 10 years.

I heard bad things about sleep number beds, so I got a tempurpedic. My chiroprator says its helping my back, I have had two lower back surgeries, more than 10 years ago.
