It bothers me greatly that Imus is called a racist when you look at some of those who are pointing the finger are just as guilty of racism as Imus is. I'm not going to go thru the list of those people but everyone knows in their heart who I'm referring to. When all the rap musicians are brought to task and all the black comedians stop demeaning their own black women and throw all their racist tyrades out the window maybe then racism will have a chance to be conquered but not until then.

He should not have been fired and both CBS and NBC are both a set of stinking hypocrites. They produce, market and sell the same racist and sexist crap that is spewed on rap records each and every day, yet because the old time "race' baiters, Sharpton and Jackson open their hypocritical mouths and speak, then ooh they are concerned. Bullsnot!!!!
The black community needs to clean up its own backyard before it can dictate someone else clean theirs.
Imus is NOT a racist. He is a "shock" jock and an equal opportunity insulter, he insulted whites, blacks, asians. Nobody escaped his acid tongue but that was his job. To the ignorant person who tried to intimate he was a Democrat, Imus is a registered Republican which he proudly spoke about in the 1990's because he could not stand the Clintons- his favorite name for Hillary to this day is " Satan". He endorsed Kerry because he cannot stand Bush and saw him as the destroyer of the Republican party. This is a man when he was on his way home from vacation found out about a "black "child suffering from cancer who needed air transport to hospital and none was available, diverted his plane to pick up the child and did what needed to be done. He did not crow about it and this happened a few years ago but THAT is the type of person Imus is and will continue to be.
If he is a racist, then Chris Rock, DL Hughley, Katt Williams to name a few are ALL racists. They are racists towards their own when they call them *****s, they are racists to others when they call asians names and whites "crackers" etc. in their acts. Rappers such as Snoop, Dr. Dre, Nelly etc are racist and sexist since they use the "n" word, the "b" word and the ever famous word " nappy haired" in some of their songs
Sharpton and Jackson sat on their moral high horses as if butter could not melt in their mouth, yet if you look in their past, the words "cracker" "hymie" honky" "hymie town" passed their lips.
Just last year, they did the race baiting and inflamed already smoldering tensions in Durham and called the innocent WHITE boys names.
So when will there be equity and they lose their radio programs.
CBS forgot what happened to them when they fired Howard Stern from their radio stations. Their ratings tanked. Imus was keeping them afloat. They will tank even more.

Imus supported Kerry in 2004. What part of Kerry is a Liberal do Liberals not understand?

Aside from that, Ms. Rice is entitled to her opinion, same as we are. If she was focused on Imus, she could certainly "floor him," so could I.

If the focus is on equity in free speech? We can defend Imus against Al Sharpton. And I really do not care who CBS hires or fires. It's not my company.

Condi agreed that liberals on radio shows should face they own fate, live with fleas you're are going to give bit.

What happened to all those politicians that he had been on ever day, those fleas are off the dog now.

Condi? Are you sure this all wasn't some sort
of conspiracy perpetrated by George Bush and
the right -wing conspiracy? He's been blamed
for everything else. (At least he's man enough
to go right to the source he hurt, and apologize).
We don't see this from other sources (Rosie,
Sharpton, Kerry, and others who have put down
Christians, the president, and other specific
Americans).
