Don Imus had referred to the white team as redneck ho's or honkey b*******'s when he was comparing the two teams?

I think any type of racism is cause for his being fired. Now matter who it was about. A person on the radio has an obligation to the public to have some morals and common dignity. This showed none at all.

Let this be a lesson people. Next time you say something you shouldn't have, Just apologize once. It doesn't make any difference if you let Sharpton pull around like a dog with a collar and a leash, to every talk show to say your sorry, you still get fired. Imus should have apologized to the team only, and then told everyone else to kiss his white honky @ss. He was making 40 mil a year. I dont think he needs a job for a while.

probably not. I mean, this whole thing is such a touchy issue, but the reason I think it was more offensive than if he would have chosen a slur towards white people is because he is white, so people wouldn't perceive it as that offensive. Its the same reason why people don't get offended when black people refer to eachother in racial slurs.

you know there is so much i want to say about this . one thing i want to say is what kind of music do these girls listen to mmmrap do ya think that they dance to a tune that may have the same message in it and they paid for it dance to it sing to it let inus go or play music in the back ground when he talks and lets call it a rap tune lighten up . al sharpton and jessie jackson have both called white people by slurred names what do people do to them nothing if we want to get rid of prejudice then get rid of the people that keep crying about it
