of course!!! he let me down by joining the new breed. the originals are truly extreme. and the new breed are more "for show" than anything. but he'll be sorry.

I think it was a good move putting CM Punk with the New Breed because A) he's not an ECW Original, and B) he will get much more exposure as a main eventer this way. There's only so much he could do being with RVD, Sabu etc. because there aren't that many top heels in ECW that he could wrestle, but as a heel he can go up against RVD and the Originals on pretty much every episode for a while in the main event.

The New Breed needs a top star. Elijah Burke isn't ready for the main event. Punk is.
Plus, Punk is not an original. When did he fight in the original ECW.
It is just a storyline. Every up-and-comer needs a heel turn. Its happens all the time. Helms, Lesnar, Cena, Jericho, Chavo - It happens to everyone at some point.
The storyline will likely turn out with someone the ECW Originals one-uping the New Breed and bringing in someone like Malenko or Funk.

I don't think it really matters b'cus cm punk is a horrible wrestler and his whole straight edge thing is as lame as his wrestling moves and mic skills....hell, he couldn't even cut it in tna, and a "high flyer" like himself should have thrived there b'cus of there excellent cruiserweight division and the awesome ultimate x matches, but right now in ecw punk actually carrys a lot of weight and they are putting a lot of stock in him, so him joining the new breed was no surprise, they needed someone in the new breed that people actually pay attention to, b'cus the new breed faction is actually pretty weak when it comes having any star power and punk will actually bring with him a lot of new breed fans and thats exactly what ecw needs if they hope to continue the whole old school vs new school gimmick, am I the only one here that thinks that ecw is really really bad anyways and that vince has basically ruined the ecw brand, there is nothing extreme about it anymore, at this point GLOW was more extreme, that of course is just my opinion

well yeah because as I have known CM punk himself is an original I have seen a clip of him beating the hell out of stone cold in the ECw ring. I dont know which show or link I have watch that but believe me I saw it with my two eyes and I can't believe it myself

CM Punk was getting little stale as a face. When he truned heel, it gives the ECW brand a strong heel to challenge Lashley for ECW title.
