My Mother and I are best friends...I can tell her anything. I moved from Dallas to the Houston area 2 years ago and I miss her so much. I see her about once a month though...just for Mommie time! How embarrassing, I'm 37! LOL
I truly am sorry you and your mother do not get along. I wish I could share mine or send you long distance hugs :) Hang in there..if she isn't someone worth getting along with, you are better off anyway :)

Wish you'd have included your ages (yours and mom's). Many mothers and daughters go through a short estranged period but it's generally becuase neither wants or bothers to consider the point of view of the other. I had "issues" with my mom for awhile but I got over it. If you're seriously in trouble and need love and sympathy from another individual your best hope is your mom. It was she who knew you first, after all. Are you driving her from you or is she under a lot of stress? Hope you can "patch" things up and become truly good friends someday.

I love my mother, but she is often cold and distant to me; she gets along better with my brother. I think she still has emotional issues she needs to work out.

I love my Mom to death she is the best Mom in the whole world. She texts me almost everyday she is 56 years old. She is awesome.

My mom hates me and barely knows I exist and I hate her and sadly have to know she's alive.
