On the contrary it is not because black people think all whites are racist but because the ones that are will take it in the wrong way they. Unlike blacks and latinos many racists would see it as a wzay to seperate their culture from what they consider the lesser cultures. Miss black and latino america are to prove that their culture is not inferior just because they come from another side of the world and have darker skin do to genes. would make comments offensive to the other rascists. If there were no racisism having a white miss america would not be a problem. But unfortunatley slavery though it is in the past and should not be dwelled on so much is still a factor in the acceptance of the minorities of a Miss white america.
Also FYI the reason some blacks catagorize whites as being racists is the same reason some whites catogorize black as being ignorant.

Because the so called "majority" establishment is white.
Originally, like everything else that white people set up in this country, the Miss America Pageant was white; for white people and by white people, and off limits to so called "minorities" non whites. Due to being excluded from the original pageant "minorities" set up their own exclusive pageants.
There was no need to say Miss White America because during that particular period in racist America, it was just understood by all that it was Miss White America. Once the laws against discrimination were passed, if they were going to call the pageant the Miss America Pageant they had to include ALL Americans. If whites want a Miss White America they should set it up.
I'm sure no one would object. But it would be pale and booring.

In the early days of pageantry, there were limitations on who could compete in the Miss America pageants, limiting the contestants to just White women, therefore, as a way to acknowledge the beauty and talents of women of other cultures, they created their own pageants. The same goes for the Latin Grammys. I know that Shakira was a very popular artist last year and had a very good album, and sold millions of copies. Was she nominated in the Grammys? No, she wasn't, thus the need for the Latin Grammys.
If the playing field wasn't so closed to talents from other cultures then there wouldn't be a need for Black or Latin pageants.

There is no Miss Black America anymore.
Miss Black America was dissolved when Miss America started letting black people participate in the pagent in the 70's.
I don't know about the other pagents.

Because Miss America IS Miss White America. Miss Black/Latina America is all about appreciating the beauty of a minority race, features that sometimes aren't seen as "desirable" by popular culture. Miss Black/Latina America is all about validating that black and latina is beautiful. White girls features are already the "ideal".
I see so many questions on Answers about things like this. Try asking these questions to people of a different race than you (that are also your friends)--they will give you a perspective you never thought of before, and you will see things in a whole new light.

Miss White America.S.h.i.t. that's all I seen on T.V.when I was growing up. Miss America = a White skinny woman
The only reason they have to come up with stuff for people of color is because everything caters to white folks. That's why they have so much for people of color. Everything is catered to white folks and if anyone don't agree with me. You all are FOOLS!

I'll tell you verybody is racist abut us white people.If people would look at the overall number of crime on there %of people u would see clearly it has nothing to do with your skin color just your ethnic group.Blame it on your skin color ,tireid of that lame excuse.
