Would you consider a subconcious act like dreaming to be cheating if you were with someone else apart from your significant other?

BTW, the women was no one I had ever met before or seen for that matter.

no,because you simply can't control what is in your dreams. if you keep thinking about it then yes, it's a form of cheating. normally, what's in your mind is just as bad as doing it

No. It's the physical act that is cheating. Everyone has these kinds of dreams or thoughts at some point. It's human. Just don't act on these things.

All it means is that the idea crossed your mind. If you dream about flying it does not make you a bird. If you dream that you are performing open heart surgery, it does not make you a surgeon, and if you dream about having sex with someone it does not make you a cheat. ,,,,just someone who's mind wanderred . (but, if you go around telling the other woman and/or your significant other about your dreams, expect them to be uncomfortable

I dont think it is cheating. Its just a dream and its only inside the mind. If you physically have sex with another woman, then that is cheating. If its in your dream, then its not. You cant contol the contents of your dream.

But you can control your dreams. You are having these dreams for a reason. It is your subconscious talking to you. Next time turn the dream lover down if you do not want to have these dreams. If you do want these dreams then you have other issues to deal with.

It's not even cheating if it's a daydream. It's not cheating until you actually do stray with a real live person. Enjoy your dreams!

cheating can be defined in many ways...
dreaming is NOT in that definition.
dreams can be chewed up and spit out versions of your everyday consciousness.
it's like you thinking of, say, seeding apples, and your need to shave before work. your dream could come out like you picking seeds off your face or taking a razor to an apple.
it couldve been a scenario similar to that!
ya dig?

No, but if I were you I would tell her, and also tell her about the dream so that she can do some of the things the "other" girl did in the dream.

Of course not, you don't have any control over your dreams. This is NOT something you want to tell her about though. Not because it's wrong, or you have anything to feel guilty about - you're both just happier without her knowing about it.
