What are some good alcoholic drinks for someone that doesn't like them overpowering? I usually like Ameretto Sours, Lemon Drop Martinis, or Strawberry Long Islands. It needs to be something I can get at a bar or restaurant, Thanks

The best is Cherry Vodka and Cranberry! It's less harsh than a straight vodka cranberry.
But I also like sex on the beach, but that sometimes is too sweet with the grenadine.

My sister is the same way! You might like a cosmo (but if at a bar, have them put it in a sifter glass!) or if the bar carries it, you would probably love Hypnotic & lemonade. It's sweet but not overpowering! Also, you could try Red Bull & Sprite. Caramel Appletini's are also really good!

Does it have to be sweet ? I like bloody Marys w/ extra olives for the same reason. Some bars serve a virtual salad in their bloody Mary's, they're really good and disguise the taste of the alcohol.

White russians are good, they contain cream, vodka, and Kahlua. They are a great after dinner drink.
daiquiri's are great, they make so many different kinds, I like a blue hawaii. It consists of the same things in a pina coloda which I am sure you have tried, with blue curacao liquor. They are really tasty and a pretty blue color if that appeals to you.

Try a pomegranate martini. Use Vodka , Triple Sec, and Pomegranate Juice. It is really good and it is also healthy.

Bear Killer,
One ounce Scotch, one ounce Kahluha and one ounce Milk.
The scotch takes the sweetness of the Kahluha, the Kahluha takes the bit off the Scotch, and the Milk makes it good for you! =D

try a good beer never overpowering try a few of them to find one you like it took my g/f a non-beer drinker some time to find one but she did it is a micro brew i don't like it but she does

NUTTY IRISHMEN
i hate the taste of alochol and that stuff i could drink it oh could i drink it. that is sooooo goood. but beware it taste soo good but you will drink and drink because you dont taste the alohol in it so becareful. I LOVE ME NUTTY IRISHMEN.
