Mine are looking really old and stained. Maybe I should just replace them.

I think the best idea is to replace them, I don't think you want to eat something from a rusty pan even if you have cleaned it..☺

You can get a good soap, like Ajax, and scouring pads to get them clean all the way. If it's because the pans are stained, I don't think there's anything you can do about it; you have to replace them (or live with them). Good luck!

I know it sounds crazy, but soak them in Tide laundry detergent. Seriously. My grandmother did it for years, and she always had an almost mentally-ill clean house. She lived 86 years in an almost completely white, cleaner than a hospital, insanely white, completely sterile condo. All the advice in the world couldnt beat that. Soak em in Tide and scrub em down. Strangely, I've tried this. Nothing major, but it worked perfectly.

Coca Cola should remove any build-up on older pans. Just soak for 5 to 10 minutes!!

That stain is usually burned butter or cooking spray. most people will have cookie sheets that look like that. Theres nothing wrong with them. If you want to, buy new ones and use parchment paper to avoid the stains in the future

I've done this and it worked really good. I put a rotary wire brush in my cordless drill and got after it. It made the old pan look like new. Hey, it worked, and yes, I'm a man...

technically baking pans are not to be washed, just wiped down, unless you burned something on them.
depends on the material they are made of.

If they are NOT aluminum, spray down w/ Dawn Relase or Easy-Off Oven Cleaner. Let sit, then scrub down w/ brillo.

If alum., pitch and buy more.
