Marvel's Fantastic Four (2005) - terrific! I just watched it last month. Starring Jessica Alba and Chris Evans.
Another good one is Batman Begins, and the Spiderman sequels. If you want a real action adventure, try National Treasure, 2004, with Nicholas Cage. It has some immensely comic scenes, and I don't think the person lives who could fall asleep through this.

"The Return" starring Sarah Michelle Geller
It is definately worth it. It is a psycological thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat. It is far better than one might expect.
