Since I had hip surgery 4 months ago, I don't always get an initial urge when I need to urinate. Sometimes I don't know soon enough. I've heard that beer is good for bladder problems. I don't drink but if it might help, I would try a beer.

I would try a urologist or neurologist. See your doctor. That is not normal and can possibly be corrected before it is a disaster. Is your back okay?

I don't think beer will do any more than any other drink to help a bladder problem. There are real drugs out there and real tests to see what is going on. I would check it out before I tried home remedies. I would not advise playing doctor on an issue that serious.

Please investigate the cause instead. Hope you feel better soon.

I have heard that incontinence could be a warning sign of something neurological going on. I just had a friend who was only 50 die of a brain tumor and her only warning was that she peed herself a couple of times. She ignored it and died 5 months later. Go to a Dr and get it checked out, never fool around with your body if something doesn't feel right to you.
