Why are they not showing the National Anthems for the Stanley Cup Finals televised on Versus?

I have noticed this the last few hockey matches that have been televised on the channel Versus. Why is this?

I don't really know but from what I saw from last years Stanley cup playoffs only NBC did that and that was late in the playoffs specifically during the finals. Usually when someone is televising early round games especially in multiple markets there may be commercials scheduled or something else may have run too long to get that in. I hope this helps

Its not the Finals yet. Its only the Quarterfinals or the 1st round for the playoffs. They will show the Anthems for the finals when they arrive.

And most likely the Finals will be on NBC like they were last year.

CBC Canada has shown both the Canadian and American anthems. I really appreciate it. It shows a lot of class and I think Canadian fans would have their heads if they went to commercial instead.

if you hadn't noticed most of the channels have not been carrying the national anthem the majority of the year. i don't know what that is all about.i watch a lot of hockey and that was one of the first things i noticed this year.

DRW.....no longer too undesirable for 40+ eh? the real definition of a milf (beautiful and over 40). for my section, she nonetheless has it! NBC ought to probably use her for some better factors in the rankings in the adventure that they confirmed her sing the anthem.

I think that they might just not want to waste time because if it's a tie game they might have a lot of ot's and they don't want to stay up for so long.

Because sponsors pay more than the US/Canadian anthems do...
