Some of the buttons on my phone stick...I think one of my little darlings must have spilled something on it. I tried using q-tips and rubbing alcohol...seemed to loosen them up at first but not now. Any suggestions on this? Thanks in advance!

First of all, I'd liek to say I am very sorry your phone is sticky now. I hate when that happens to me.

Anyways, when you say cordless phone, I assume you're not talking about a cell phone. If it is a cell phone, you can easily take of the plastic covering on the front off and clean around it. If you are referring to a cordless home phone, then that's, obviously, a little different. Some cordless phone models' covers can be removed, just like a cell phone. Some cannot. if yours is a model that cannot have its cover removed, then unfortunately, you're out of luck. Although using rubbing alcohol and q-tips and such items can be helpful in loosening up, it will not completely remove it. Also, it is bad to put liquids inside because it may cause your phone to stop working.

Hope you can find a solution.

take the phone apart or have someone who is a bit mechanically inclined take it apart. Thats the only way to really do it and fix the problem. Once apart, use mild detergent. Otherwise if you don't care about the phone too much you can try holding the phone with the keys pointed downward and spraying some rubbing alcohol into the keys to flush whats inside out. No guarantees there, depending what they got in it.

Can you take the phone apart? If you can take it apart, it would help in cleaning. Take the mechanical part out of the cover. Clean the outer shell and let it dry over night.
