Maybe because she doesn't like wearing gold and diamonds. I know I'm not that crazy about them.

okay that is extremely weird and rare to be allergic to gold or diamonds....but if you are giving her expensive gifts like these, she may feel as though she is unable to give a gift of equal value in return.

Some woman are allergic to these things. Another reason is that some woman look better without any jewlery. They think that no jewlery looks more simple and modern.
