I'm going on a roadtrip and I need something to protect my car's body paint from scratches due to the sandy wind and high speed. I was told to use "white lithium grease". will it hurnt my paint? Is there something better I should use?? please give as much info as u can, thanks!

The grease will just cause the sand to stick to the car.Clean the car and put a couple coats of wax on .
Duplicolor makes a spray on protector that you can wash off later. Its called shield.

This must be an interesting road trip! It sounds like you're expecting really extreme conditions. If it's not going to rain, you could consider using a spray-mask film to protect your paint. It's used in bodyshop applications instead of masking paper. You spray the film on and use water to wash it off. I tend to think the grease method would be messy and difficult to remove. Not to mention sand would gather in the grease and scratch the paint when you tried to remove the grease anyway. Use the spray mask instead, I don't think it'll blow off at high speeds.

Google: "3M Paint Protector" Awesome stuff and it is removable.
