I'm looking for a good wiring diagram for a 1968 Mustang. I need both the engine side and the instrument side if possible. Also any advice on where to install the engine ground strap would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

i own a repair shop and auto zone or advance either one might have this on line,if not you would be better off getting a good repair manual for it because sometimes when you download stuff or print it out ,you loose some of the picture in between pages, and that wont help you much, but there's plenty of repair manuals on these cars, and there pretty accurate also, good luck with it hope this helps.

Yeah, check autozone.com if they don't have it, a Chilton book is pretty cheap. As far as the ground goes, you can never really have enough. Use any convenient spot on the engine and ground to the frame. Also run a ground from the frame to the body ( I do this in the front and rear of the car just to be sure ). If you are working under the dash it would be easy to run 2 or 3 good ground wires to hook up future upgrades such as stereo, gages, lights, etc. Make sure the surface you ground to is clean. No paint, rust or grease allowed. Have fun!
