If i am driving 75mph... and need to drive 1000 miles.... Around what time would I get there.... could you please show the process...Thanks

Speed * Time = Distance
75 * time = 1000
time = 1000/75
time = 13.33333 hours

Time = 13 hours 20 minutes

Just divide distance by speed: 1000/75.

Distance = Rate x Time

or D = R x T

then T = D/R

D = 1000 mi., R = 75 mi./hr.

T = D/R = 1000 mi./75 mi/hr = 13.33 hrs.

T = 13 hours and 20 minutes

If t stands for time then:

t x 75mph = 1000mi
t x (75/75) = 1000/75
t = 13.3333333333333333333333333333333333333333...

It would take you 13.3333... hours
