You can wipe out any residue with regular dish soap and dish cloth but do not use anything abrasive. Only after your stove has cooled off totally.

After the oven has completely cooled I use a dust pan and a small hand broom to "sweep" out the ashes, then I go over the interior surface with a ocelo sponge and water.

Let it cool down, then open it and wipe out the dust that's left inside. Touch up any places left that didn't get clean. Good luck.
