Sometime. i've noticed that people don't fell like reading ever single answer if there is tons of them and stop at the top few or at least the top page. I try to read them all. Thats the same with people giving thumbs up and down, usually only the first half have them.

Yes.
Before selecting the best answer, questioners read through the answers very quickly. (We're all in a hurry.) The first answers and the last answers stick best in memory (due to what cognitive psychologists call the serial position effect, or primacy and recency effects), but the first answers are the ones that are most carefully read.
So answering first is best. Answering last is second best. Answering in the middle almost certainly dooms you to merely two points.
