it starts and gives me a screen with stats about the drive(A:/, C:/ , RAM) just like usual but it doesn't do anything , it can't start up.
By the way some one unplugged it while it was running windows update, is this the problem? or is it a hardware or software problem?anyother thing i can do?
(Windows xp, SP2, 192 MB RAM, 15GB Hard drive, 700Mhz processor)

Most likely OS trouble.

I've personally tried it twice and it works. All my files are intact. I just needed to reload board chipset drivers.

I suggest you also increase your RAM. We have almost similar set up but I have 3x128Mb on board.
