i don't understand! Pleas help lol

If Karen sells $2,300 worth of goods and receives an 11% commission with a base pay of $150, how much would her paycheck be?

2300 times 11% equals

2300 x 0.11 = 253

Add

253 + 150 = 403

Karen will recieve a check for $ 403

11% commission means she gets to take home 11% of what she sells.

First, find her commission.

11/100 = x / 2,300
100x = 25300
x = $253

Now, you add her base pay and her commission to find her total paycheck.

$253 + $150 = $403
