I'm assuming you're talking about your shower/bathtub drain and not a sink draink so if you have long hair try using a hanger and needle nose pliers..it's really gross but you'll be able to pull out chuck of gunk and hair out of there. Good luck!!

While there is still standing water in the sink or tub, try using a plunger to bring up all the stuff that the Draino isn't working through. Be prepared to use some upper body strength and to be totally grossed out by what comes up that drain!

I have the easiest solution. A must have for every house. This has saved me a lot of money in plumming expenses and not having to use Drano and other chemicals in my house. I bought a "Profi" pipe cleaner from QVC.com or call 800-345-1515 item V12268. It works on air pressure but yet it is safe on all types of pipes. It also comes with attachments for bathtub, kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and toilet. Works through standing water --totally clogged drains. Does not require strength and is extremely easy to use. I dont know what I would do without mine. It cuts through hair, soap, tissues, paper towels, food, etc. Oh by the way it costs about $19--it will pay for itself over and over again.

You didn't mention which drain...sink or tub/shower. If it is your sink drain and solutions aren't working, could something have gotten into your drain that is blocking it? You may need to shut off the water and open the pipe under the sink to see. Do you have kids? God knows what they can jam down a drain.
