I have a 1990 chevy corsica and the lights in my dashboard don't work. It's not a fuse because I changed them and it still doesn't work and I don't think it's a bulb because it went out slowly, sometimes they'd work and sometimes they wouldn't and now they don't at all. What could it be?

Dimmer switch.
It allows you to adjust the illumination brightness of the dash lights or turn them off while the headlights are on.

There's nothing worse than those pesky "on now, off later" short circuits! If you're sure the fuse has been replaced with a proper amperage protector and the lamps have been checked OK, then there's obviously a wiring problem. Get a circuit tester and check both ends of the wires; I'm pretty sure you've got a bad wire somewhere. It could also be a ground wire problem, if all of the power leads are good. Good luck!

2 things, either the control that dims the dash lights is off or failing. or the circuit board behind the guages has a short some place. check both of these and you will find your problem.
