Recently I found a hidden condom in one of my cupboards. I'm currently pregnant, so me and my boyfriend are not using them. He denies it being his, but there's no one else in my home that would have posessed it. He claims it must of been here when we moved in, last month, but I scrubbed all the cupboards out, and it was not there before. I want to believe him, but deep down I know it was his, what do you think?

i don't think if he's cheating he would put it there, to be found. always give anyone the benefit of the doubt.

Consider this an open issue and play your cards close to the chest. My wife and I once found a pair of panties in her car. They were way too small for her. SOMETHING happened out there in the garage and it didn't involve either of us. I'm mystified by why, if he's cheating, he would hide A (as in one) condom in a cupboard. It doesn't seem to be a very good place to put one, and if I was cheating I wouldn't buy just one. I think you should cut him some slack (because I can't see this as any evidence of guilt on his part, it's just too random and strange) but you should tease him about it from time to time. Not harassing him, just keeping him on edge. If you keep it playful, it doesn't hurt the relationship but keeps in his mind that you're watching him.

Follow your gut. I would definately be wondering why he's hiding it, but also, just because your pregnant now doesn't mean that he didn't have a few left from before you got pregnant. You need to get to the bottom of it without being so accusing that you end up running him off. Look at him get straight answers and pay attention to his mannerisms as he is talking to you. There is the possibility that he has been faithful to you all along. So the most important thing is to talk to him, watch him as you talk and then follow your gut. It's almost always right.

If I was your man, and I was cheating on you, I would hide my condoms in my car, or at work, or just buy new ones when I needed them. I certainly would not hide them in the home. Think about it is he really that stupid, he would make damn sure you never found them. Give him another chance. Good luck.

Sounds pretty fishy to find a condom in the kitchen when you guys aren't using them. What else points to cheating?

That doesn't sound good. Maybe keep a good close eye on where he goes and how long he spends out. How often he has to "stay late at work". If he's cheating on you while you're pregnant you deserve WAY better!! Good luck xx

Probably. I once found condoms in my husbands gym bag and he told me they weren't his - we lived with his brothers at the time so it was possible that it wasn't his but turned out he was cheating. Usually us woman already know the answer to this question - but we're either in denial, don't really want to know or too scared to leave.

I presume that the condom is new. :) Sorry, it's not funny. Basically, you can't know for sure whether it has to do with cheating at all. It could have been there, your boyfriend could have bought for future or whatever. The question is - why do you not trust him and do you have reasons not to?

Something similar happened to me. I found a condom in my living room. My ex was cheating on me.

Just keep your radar on alert for other signs that something might be going on. To assume cheating is going on without real proof and no other gut instincts or signals will just sabotoge (sp?) your relationship.

trust your instincts, you know him better than anyone else, right? is he acting stranger? is he being secretive? before finding the condom were there indications the relationship was in trouble? did you see any sign of infidelity? what is you gut telling you? you are really the only one who can answer this question...maybe my ?'s will help you figure it out.
