I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima. I brought it into Midas to have them check out the suspension because I've been hearing a pop noise over bumps. They told me it was the strut mount but Autozone sells the suspension bearing and the strut mount seperately and together. How do I know if either of these parts are worn out? Thanks.

It's the strut......

If you can rock the car up and down by hand and it makes no noise, It's the strut.

They do break. I've busted one.
