It said in the credits that the movie was filmed in Malta?! I recognised Paris, London and what I thought was Scotland so where did Malta double up for?

i LLLLLLOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEE the book, even if the movie is a poor adaptation. i know if i hadnt read the book twice i would have thought the movie was crap.
even if u dislike some of the truths revealed in the plot u have to admit that the author is a genius in arranging all the events in that plot. i don't care what anyone else says, i read it as a novel and saw it as a movie, i don't have to swallow anything it says hook line n sinker.
what do u care where it was shot anyway? haven't u heard of special effects???

x-men definately! I honestly have it on dvd and that i went 2 the cinema 2 watch it! it incredibly is a impressive ending to the trilogy plus it has hugh jackman (who beats tom hanks any day!). the da vinci code has neva fascinated me, to be honset. the e book sounds boring and that i nevertheless can no longer have self assurance they made a action picture for it so quickly after the e book got here out! i've got examine books that are much greater thrilling than what the da vinci codes appears like and that they have not been made into videos!

isnt malta spanish for marijuana? oh wait that might be multa. Read the book now since you watched the movie.You will notice that there are alot of parts cut out and the end of the movie isnt even the same as the book. Books are always better to read first then watch the movie.

I don't know about Malta.... possibly the bit at the end where Sophie and Robert say goodbye. That looks like it could be Malta.
I was too busy looking at the beautiful Audrey Tautou to notice, I'm afraid!

I'm not sure, I didn't realise any of it was filmed in Malta, (the book is much better)

There are background sets that are painted or put in digitally in to a movie when it is edited. It is done all the time with movies.

There was also a lot of the book cut and edited to make it such an amazing story in the first place. This was a terrible book even by the action/thriller genre. Please stop discussing it, let's talk about the new harry potter literature, please, i beg of you.
