Before God was the dissolution of the Cosmos. At the time of dissolution of the Cosmos... all souls’ atmans reach their 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cosmic life cycle! All souls’ atmans having regained their original pristine form combine together to form half the size of a thumb! This half the size of a thumb... the sum total of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos at a given point of time is what we know as god.
The whole Cosmos reduced to half the size of a thumb, imagine the colossal energy it would contain! Unable to contain itself for long... this cluster of your energy (God Almighty) explodes with a big bang and starts a new cosmos... a new cosmic life cycle!
In the cosmic domain understanding the system of God is beyond the purview of normal human beings. The cosmic system is beyond the catch of senses and the mind. As always there are people whom do not answer your question, just force their opinion on you or disrespect you. I on the other hand am an open minded, caring person that is not into forcing my beliefs. I am a Native American Indian and I also have beliefs of the Buddha and The God and Goddess. I feel, humbly that the God and The Goddess are the Divine beings that came before God...I say this with no disrespect to you or anyone else.
This is simply my opinion. The others with negative and cruel answers obviously have a God that thinks it is ok to belittle and make their fellow brothers and sisters feel awful and this is a God I cannot follow personally for I feel every person deserves to hold their head up high. My dieties do not see punishment in any way as being a good person. I hope this helps and I hope that some day, the people whom are ignorant to being kind to you with your question will one day find themselves in a similar situation and see through your eyes and realize the error of their ways! Well, depending on the religion and the location of a person, and also how they grew up, there will be many answers. If you ask the Islamic [Alah], Christian [Jehovah], and Jewish [Yahweh] religions, there is no one before God, but himself, and he created everything around him. That is the theory of these religions. If you ask an Atheist, they will say that there is no God, and that there is no point in believing in anything that is not oneself. The truht is that it all depends on the ethics and moral that each person has been introduced to in their lives and the choices they have made, either to reject the information or accept it and believe in it. But, no one really knows who came before God, all we have are a bunch of different scriptures and schizms in each religeon. Many say that the human brain is too small and too inarticulate to understand thing like these, and life after death. We use a very small percentage of our brains, and, Albert Einstein, a genius, said that we only use 10% of it, so that shows us how long we have to go in order to be able to understand such intricate things as religeon.

Being that God is the only thing that actually exist there is no before God or After God.
God is infinity however infinity is not something that goes on forever.
Rather it is the full extent therefore it cannot be measured,seen,understood,replicated etc....
The only thing that exist in light of God is void. Without void there can never be something.....And without something there cannot be void.

No one was before God. God created everything that we know. Where God came from, I do not know. I guess he will let us know these things when we get to heaven.

The unawersable question, so, let us take a guess. Perhaps it is some force that is beyond time and physics as we can not understand it. We try so hard to fit everything in terms of our own understanding, but, just suppose, there is something else that we simply cannot explain? What a wonderful mystery you have proposed!!! All is mystery!
