I want to:
- pay off debt
- lose weight
- have a less cluttered home
- get a full-time teaching job
- get published

What am I doing?
- I'm sending extra to my car to get that paid off faster to free up money for other debts.
- Trying to pay attention to labels more, but admittedly, I'm in the beginning stages of this one. I don't think I'm mentally ready for such a huge lifestyle change.
- Judging by the crap on my desk, apparently, nothing. But I've sold back many books and cds. So, I'm sort of trying.
- I've been working as a part-time instructor for seven years. It doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere. :(
- Not enough. This the one area of life where I feel the most unsatisfied.

Yes. I know what i want to do. I want to be a writer, and I've written 1 and 1/2 books. Almost done with the 2nd. I'm editing my first, and I'm about to send it out. I have had a control group that didn't know me read a good deal of the first, and most loved it. So that's my goal in life, and to live well. By being a great author I can live a good life and do what I want. When I want. There isn't much more I could even do to get my life goal to happen

I want to be a corporate attorney specializing in intellectual property. To achieve this I must study very hard, and give up 7+ years of my life. But in the end, the 150, 000 median salary, 80000 starting salary is well worth it. Pray for me as I study and learn.

I want to work at a college or university. Right now I have a job that will give me good experience to help me get a job at a college or university. Talk to others in the situation you want to be in and ask them what they did to get where they are.

serenity...after a life of work and strife you tend to want peace and quiet and no bickering with anyone..

i keep a low profile and try not to talk to much as you learn twice as much by listening then talking..most people are only interested in hearing themselves talk and the sound of their own voice..so i only speak when the other person is really listening to me..it saves on the wear and tear of living.

I want to be a great mom -- for my daughter to feel connected and supported by me. I sometimes let 'life' get in the way of being really present with her at times ... so I am going to do something about that. Thanks for this question .. it got me thinking.

I want to spread joy and cheer wherever I go; so I do just that.
I want to help people see that they can and should make the most of their lives. I counsel people who want to improve their self-esteem.
