It would be nice but i dont think so. He played amazing there for most of the season averageing 3-4 TD's a game in the middle. He wont be able to match that but he will still do amazing. The way he avoids taking any big hits and he doesnt really get pounded on i can definitely see him being great for a few years still.

As the pressure will be off of Philip Rivers next season and San Diego looks to boost its WR corp, look for LTs TD production to drop a little. Now, all the defenses will be more focused on Tomlinson instead of Rivers, so look for the Chargers to get more into the passing game in the 2007 season.

Not a chance look at other players after their record breaking year. After Jamal Lewis ran for 2000+ yards he has been in a steady decline. After Shaun Alexander broke the then TD record he got injured. He got banged up a lot least season and his stats will decline also with the emergence of Phillip Rivers as he progresses as a QB.

I think it's possible. Remember, he did this in a year where Phillip Rivers remained largely unproven. As he progesses, teams will have to play the pass a little more. Also, if a guy like Vincent Jackson continues to improve, that can help the situation even more.
If opposing teams can't just focus on LT, he'll make a ton of plays.

That'd be something wouldn't it? But no, it is very unlikely. New coach and all will likely change what happens too. I think they'll get some WRs in the draft for Rivers to throw to and that will cut into LT's TDs a bit...although he's still bound to get at least 20 I think...

It's possible, but not likely. I think LT would settle for a Super Bowl run over breaking his TD record.

No, he set the bar too high for himself. What he did last year was one of the most amazing in NFL history and wont be surpassed anytime soon.

I'm going to guess that he will despite the top tier teams that we will be playing this year.
