Lol, very true. And why is it that they tell you that practice makes perfect, and also tell you that nobody's perfect? Completely contradictory.

I think they mean to stay young on the inside. That don't necessarily mean act childish. Also, being a kid is easy, growing up and dealing with "LIFE" sucks.

no one's ever told me that. I've always been different as a kid. I didn't act like a kid. even in my teen years, where most kids my age became @ssholes, I didn't, in fact, I became more mature. so I didn't think of myself as a teenager. I wondered what that made me. I wasn't a kid, I wasn't a teenager, yet I wasn't an adult. all I knew was that was one of the ways I was unique. I was young in my years, but I was ancient in my thoughts.

yes exactly my grown kids want me to act so mature well I was mature the whole time I raised them as a single mother and responsible now they are grown and I can have fun and they think I am acting childish......
