Your rabbit is probably curious as to what you are doing. But he probably doesn't want to be held or touched. Either that or he is trying to get you to play.

One of my rabbits (I have three and this one runs around my dining room) does the same thing. I figured out that when he does this, he's usually just hungry and is hoping for food.
It could also be that maybe you rabbit is just bored and thinks it's fun to follow you around and then run away.
As for the "just standing in front of my door just staring at me" part, I noticed that all my rabbits do this. I believe it is because in the wild, rabbits aren't exactly at the top of the food chain so they usually have to remain motionless to avoid becoming prey and so maybe when your rabbits sense danger, or something it isn't used to, it goes back to it's natural instinct: being motionless.
Hope this helps!

My rabbit, Spaz did this a lot too, and also ran circles around me. My friend, who is a veternarian, told me that Spaz thought of me as the "dominant leader". I guess they do this in their groups in the wild, so it is an instict, even if they are kept as a pet.

It is curios, but I don't know for sure. You can ask an expert.I know two. They are my friends. His name is Mark and has a friend Sofia to help him out.Their email is Pet_Service@yahoo.ca .I asked Sofia many questions about my hamster. She answered them perfectly and in just one day.Mark used to be a vetrenarian that does operations to animals and check-ups but now he only does check-ups.Sofia still does operations and check-ups.They are both 30.I hope they can help you!Ask as much questions as you like.

of course it means something. it means that he doesn't like the way he looks. yea, my pet does this to me all the time. the way to fix it, is to dress him up in a cute little outfit. this will make him feel more secure and at home. have fun with your pet!
