I have liked them both a lot but I am going most with Law and The graininess of L & O appeals to me. It is more of a thinker's programme I suppose. Order. I like how they carry some through to the end of the trial.
CSI ... it is way too slick much of the time.
I like all varieties of Law and Order as well.
Could not get into CSI NY for some reason.
Without a Trace is just too fine for words.
Criminal Minds is pretty good as well.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (the original.) Law and order i haven't really seen, but i am pretty sure it isn't as good as CSI.

Csi of course the charecters are more real and they actually have lives .
